Dr. Brian Weiss and "Many Lives, Many Masters" Debunked
Dr. Brian Weiss, a popular past life regression and reincarnation therapy advocate, has undoubtedly inspired people new to the field of Past Lives Therapy. For this contribution, we are appreciative of his efforts. However, his juvenile therapy techniques are ineffective for most individuals, for it's clear to a resolved mind that Dr. Weiss doesn't understand the inner workings of the unconscious mind. His approaches lack clinical structure, which is a disservice to an already widely misunderstood specialty. His past life regression therapy is based on affirmations before confusion is resolved within the unconscious mind. This inevitably results in failure and he knows it. Therefore, Brian Weiss focuses on selling books and irresponsible "hypnosis tapes/CD's" that just further confuse people.
Learn the truth about Dr. Brian Weiss, his celebrity fascinations, and his misunderstanding about hypnosis vs. de-hypnosis. Unfortunately, Brian Weiss's theories are in direct conflict with fundamental practices of mind-body healing. The completed version of this article debunking Dr. Brian Weiss will be emailed to PLRC subscribers (sign up here). Dr. Weiss is retired and doesn't refer therapists.
Below is our review of Many Lives Many Masters by Brian Weiss.
Although Brian Weiss' Many Lives, Many Masters has been a fashionable book, which Past Life Therapy Center® Worldwide offers due to consumer interest, we do not endorse this book or similar works by retired therapist, Brian Weiss. PLTC doesn’t believe you should “unlearn feelings” as stated on the author’s website, or that one should be selling self-hypnosis past life regression CD’s and then state in the FAQ that customers should “try not to get frustrated” when they don’t work. Healing begins when you root negative emotions to their unconscious sources and express your feelings (including frustration, anger, etc.), rather than “unlearning” or avoiding them via meditation, traditional hypnosis, or untimely affirmations.
Validating your feelings and releasing those that were negatively absorbed during past life, prenatal/birth experiences, surgeries, and other unconscious states, is necessary to reinforce a healthy mind-body. Furthermore, we disagree with Dr. Weiss' belief that the "evolution of the soul is different from the evolution of the body." On the contrary, one's soul is the source of resolution and evolution via the unconscious mind, which can then align with the body to reinforce wellness.
Many Lives Many Masters by Brian Weiss is essentially a romance novel, which has always been a top selling book category. That said, if Brian Weiss's books have encouraged you to recognize that your unresolved past lives influence your present and future, or have directed you to pursue our most effective therapy process, then we are grateful. Learn more about the Past Life Regression Center® De-Hypnosis Method vs. Brian Weiss' counseling here.
An estimated 99.9% of therapists from various healing arts and mental health professions haven't mastered how the unconscious mind works, or the corresponding effects from leaving one's mind in its unresolved condition. Therefore, if any results are aided by them, they will be long-awaited and short-lived using dated techniques. Dr. Thomas Paul is a wellness facilitator who enables individuals to easily access and completely resolve unconscious roots of challenges, whereas most modalities just scratch the surface. For lasting changes, a comprehensive use of de-hypnosis is implemented to thoroughly rectify unconscious states of confusion, such as past lives, prenatal-birth/surgical experiences and emotional traumas
We highly recommend reading Past Lives Therapy by Dr. Morris Netherton with Dr. Thomas Paul, Founder of Past Life Regression Center®, moderator/author of PastLifeRegressionCenter.com and PastLifeRegression.com.
